We are very proud to announce our one year anniversary here at eforpeace.com. The creators of Emissaries For Peace are hopefully optimistic that our idea of spreading friendship and goodwill will continue to grow throughout our efforts and the efforts of those who feel that our idea of passing a gift from one person to the next and tracking its journey online has merit, potential, and unlimited possibilities for helping the world find strength and understanding that peaceful resolution of conflict is necessary for the survival of our species. Addressing the toughest social and political issues by opening a channel of dialogue is the first step towards reconciliation, understanding, and hope for the children of the future. We encourage you if you share our vision to join us and send us your impressions concerning our first year in operation. We remain hopeful in the belief that we will continue to keep this website running and available to all who would like to share in the experience of giving a gift that travels around the world long after the first recipient has received it. More importantly, we will continue to take a portion of the proceeds, and give it to charitable organizations that promote peaceful resolution of conflict in all facets of life. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Emissaries For Peace

This will spread the word and help put a stop to the endless war on peace, one gift at a time.
The truest measure of ones wealth is not what is kept but what is given away.
2012, what makes peace so important at this point in time? Right now, there seems to be no end to the people who want to believe that a culture that used to sacrifice their fellow human beings is correct in their belief and prediction that none of us have anything left to live for or to be responsible about. Why do people who predict the worst seem to be able to control our collective imagination and energies?
Perhaps the time has come for a different way of thinking that is more in line with the brilliant minds of the past who taught that the promise of peace, understanding, and hopeful conviction of a future that we can be proud of when we pass it on to our children.
Emissaries For Peace seems to be a very humble beginning for a process that needs to be embraced by every man woman and child on our planet. The idea behind Emissaries For Peace allows people to touch a physical object and know that that particular Emissary connects them with people all over our planet who wish for us nothing more than to survive as one species of human beings who are intelligent, hopeful, and enthusiastic about the possibilities for mankind. It seems like a no brainer to me.
